Cornell & Diehl's Cordial features smoky Latakia, sweet Virginias, exotic Turkish and black Cavendish, expertly blended and finished with a subtle hint of flavor that ties everything together in an easy-smoking mixture. This is a perfect tobacco to wind down with after a long, hard day.
This is a nice Latakia that's not too overpowering. It claims to have a fruit and citrus top note that I have not been able to pick up. It tends to be a rather dry tobacco that smokes fairly fast, so I find that i have to refill my pipe to feel as though I've had a complete smoking experience.

Dunhill Aperitif was one of my favorite mixtures, and when it became unavailable, I sought a similar blend. C & D Cordial is very similar in character to Aperitif, a full flavored true Scottish mixture. Rich and complex, a truly enjoyable smoke. If you enjoy Scottish blends or were a fan of Aperitif, give Cordial a try.
