I love complex blends, but there are times that I want something that just has a straightforward tobacco flavor. For those times I enjoy Cornell & Diehl Derringer. This is a Virginia flake reduced to a ready-rubbed state for easy prep. C&D's Derringer is a little pistol (pun intended) that delivers plenty of flavor that's perfect for those time when you want to puff and relax. C&D's Derringer is a great way to unwind at the end of the day.
solid virginia. came dry but i think it will age well with a bit of moisture

Seems like a slightly robust version of say Union Square. Really enjoy the Virginia w/o casings or toppings. Very enjoyable. Even a few months should be good on it.

If you are having bite issues with this just dry it out until it is way more dry than you think it should be and sip is slow. Don't puff to keep it lit.
