The Spice Must Flow
While the tin note is very coco-y, I can't find any in it lit. It smokes mostly clove at first. Made me sneeze a few times. Not the usual spice I am accustomed to ad a Latakia man. Sometimes it is too spiced, the Kasturi taking a very strong lead. When it is more distant, and the woodiness comes in, it's much better. There is an underlying sweetness and moments when it becomes quite pie like. BUT ! The clove cephalopod rears it's many tendrils again from the seas. The Spice must FLOW!! It returns. I think this one could benefit from bourbon barrel aging. I consider moving the bourbon barrel stave in my Seattle Pipe Club Bourbon Barrel Aged Plum Pudding, and adding it to the tin. An experiment. It's a cool summer morning, breezy. I think this might work as a fall or winter blend. I need a saw. There's work to be done. Mad work.

Warm honey and spicy earth
Has notes of honey and warm brown sugar, with a spice in the foreground that really helps the earthy sweetness become balanced. Excellent flavor profile and tin note.

Walk on the wild side.
Wonderfully different. Tin note reminds me of ginger. Taste has hints of clove and something else exotically oriental over a deeper cigar note. It’s an addictive flavor because you have to keep coming back to try to figure it out. A great break from boring routines.

This blend took me a
This blend took me a few bowls to really figure out. It’s basically a VaPer+. The Kasturi leaf gives some neat additional spice that is quite pleasant both in terms of room note and flavor. I did need to pack it a bit looser than I’m used to due to the broken flake cut. It also gives a nice nicotine buzz without any accompanying stomach issues. Burns very cool with no bite, even when I really puff hard. I don’t think I’d have this as an “all day everyday” sort of blend, but it’s a nice occasional treat. I’ll be buying again.

SO/SO
Not sure if it is me or my likes and dislikes but I just thought this was lacking flavor, nice cut easy to pack you have to pack loose for it to burn nice out of the container. Room note is ok, this just wasn't a homerun for me personally.

Intriguing tin note of oriental
Intriguing tin note of oriental spices. Possibly cinnamon with other oriental type spices that come through clearly in the flavor. The blend of spice, slight cigar taste and medium strength keep me coming back for more.

It will make you mad in the decadent sense
Hands down the best tobacco I've had thus far in my life. You open the tin and it smells like sweet wine, dark cherry, and rum. Smoke it and you enjoy peppery perique and charming cigar leaf/katsuri. I really can't even review this tobacco because I don't want anyone else to buy it up and out of stock. Stay away from Mad Fiddler, it's mine! All mine!

Queasy, but worth it.
I love this stuff, and I do not know why. The tin note is a delightful cinnamon roll smell, but the taste is more spicy and cigar-like. This stuff makes me sick to my stomach though, because of all of the nicotine. Like, I can not even have a full bowl or I will be wrecked. But I keep coming back to it. I only wish it was in bulk.
