I love the sweet Virginias and Perique with the savory saltiness of the condimental Oriental leaves. This is my go to for a pipe and black coffee. Good room note. No tongue bite. This is just plain tasty. Enjoy!

I'm a big fan of Virginia and Oriental tobaccos. Sunday Picnic is one of the best. It's got the Virginia sweetness and the briny taste of the Orientals in the right proportion. It's an all day flake that I highly recommend.

I like this. Trace perique, the bare minimum, perfect. The turkish is "turkish turkish" without the high florals. Good cut and burn, balanced and well behaved. Distant echoes of an out of production blend, but, echoes none the less. This could easily break into my rotation if my rotation wasn't already jammed. Good once a day variety bowl, if you didn't just want to keep smoking it! I'm always looking for this type of blend w/o latakia that still retains some torque and this is a winner.

It has grown on me, and enjoy it everytime I put it in a bowl. The spice is settle and more noticeable if you breathe out of your nose. It's mellow, and one you want to smoke slow or your bowl can get a lil hot. Still trying out all different types of of tobacco. I can see this tobacco appeasing many different smokers. Happy smoking!

I smoke an array of pipe tobaccos from full English blends, Virginia/Perique blends, Burley, Dark Fired Kentucky, you name it. I enjoy each type depending upon my mood. However, Sunday Picnic is the blend I most often reach for. Slightly spicy, slightly sweet, full bodied, medium in nicotine content. It's complex enough to never get boring, but smooth enough to offer a very relaxing smoke. In one word, OUTSTANDING!
