Cornell & Diehl Tuskegee Airman

Cornell & Diehl Tuskegee Airman is a pressed crumble cake made with select Virginia tobaccos along with exotic Turkish leaf, rich, smoky Cyprian Latakia, and a splash of zesty Perique. The cake is easy to break apart and prepare, and the flavor is smooth with just the right notes of smokiness and spice. C&D's Tuskegee Airman is an all-day delight for Latakia fans.

Expected more but...
It's a good smoke if you like strong English and non aromatic blends. It's not as latakia forward as I had hoped, nor as strong in general as I was looking for. I am on the hunt for a blend strong enough to properly compliment an Islay Single Malt. This doesn't do that job. Can't name a pipe tobacco that does. So far a Camacho Cigar does it best. I'll buy again, great with a dry red wine or strong coffee.

Delicious
Absolutely delicious medium English blend. It comes packaged as an easy to rub krumble cake. The Latakia shines bright, but leaves enough room for the Virginias and orientals to peek through for the perfect marriage. The result is an all day English that is immensely satisfying.

I give it a V for Victory
This tobacco is like a time machine, a very special blend, I never had anything like it. I suggest you get some and fly back in time to the 40's.
