Cornell & Diehl Yorktown

A simply good Virginia blend, no top note, packaged very dry. I found it smoked good this way. Medium nicotine, absolutely no tounge bite, mixes very well with mostly anything although I love it just like it is.

A very nice Virginia blend. I've never experienced any tongue bite issues. Nor have I had problems with it burning hot. A little drying time and easy packing, followed by a nice, slow pace has consistently paid off with very pleasant smokes. (Then again, that holds true for most quality Virginias.) Flavor is quite nice. This tobacco compares very favorably with other high-quality (and relatively higher-price) Virginias.

Very good. Mild with hints of bread and hay. I have mixed ogs and redcake and this tastes similar. Was a little dry out of the bag but I like mine that way.

Sitting on the balcony with a bowl of this right now. Shared a few puffs with the housemates, who were surprised at how tasty it is. When back in stock I'm placing another order of my new favorite. Earthy and beautiful baccy, highly recommended

Yorktown was a blend I was giving a good look at and considering for my next order. Then I saw the YouTube video by Public Piper (Jan. 1, 2016) where Jeremy Reeves describes it and was surprised it wasn't more popular. So I ordered it and I really love it. There's definitely a toastiness to it and a hint of sweet. It has a very 'rustic' quality to it like many blends from C&D. It came quite dry so don't expect it to last too long as it burns down quite rapidly but I did not get any tongue bite. So puff it light and you will be rewarded with a great Virginia taste. Add a bit of black Cavendish to help it burn a little slower and last longer. I will surely be ordering more Yorktown in the near future.

This tobacco come very dry, you will need to rehydrate for sure. Don't let that turn you off, this is a excellent Virginia.
