Cult Conspiracy

It's a conspiracy...a conspiracy, I tell ya!
From the folks who brought you the best-selling cherry blend on P&C, Blood Red Moon, and the smooth, mellow Abacus, Cult is proud to bring you their most intriguing blend yet. Let us introduce you to Cult Conspiracy.
It all starts with premium golden Virginias and a special black Cavendish, made from specially selected Green River one-sucker Burley. These are combined with a modicum of rich, reddish Burley, and finished by the addition of an unusual element - a bit of smoky Cyprian Latakia.
The creamy-sweet flavor that is applied to Conspiracy contains a wonderful, warm vanilla and a touch of clover honey. When combined with the subtle influence of the Latakia, the result is a mellow sweetness with a slightly floral note.
If you like Latakia but don't enjoy the withering glare from those who are around you, Cult Conspiracy might be the perfect answer. Give it a try. One thing we can guarantee is that you've never experienced a blend like it before.

Interesting and very enjoyable blend
Great smoke; a very fine light aromatic with just a touch of fine English-style. Very enjoyable. Will keep in rotation.

The best
The finest aromatic I've ever had. All of the pluses and none of the minuses of those other aros that have disappointed.

A great smoke
Love this one. No bite and you can really kick back and relax with it. First time buyer for it and will be purchasing more. Conspiracy is so good, I'll be buying the others in their lineup.

Overall Satisfying Smoke
I quite enjoy this tobacco. My usual rotators are Orliks Golden Sliced, Escudo, Cult Blood Red Moon, Old Toby and Hunting Creek from CST, so if you enjoy those you may like this one from Cult. This tobacco has a very nice smokey latakia flavor presence without being overpowering. It's nicely complemented by a sweeter flavor that was described in the product description as vanilla and clover honey. I'm not sure I'm getting those exact flavors, but it is a sweeter flavor that complements the smoke well without dininshing the latakia at all. It produces very nice thick white pleasantly fragrant smoke which I also enjoy. It is quite tasty and satisfying. If you're interested in dabbling into the latakia this is a nice place to start without diving head first into a full english blend. I will be adding this selection to my rotation.

The best American style English blend going. Smooth as silk and leaves you wanting more. Nice room note and no bite.

It is one of the nicest tobacco that I have ever smoked....in addition, my wife loves its aroma.

A duel
This'ns hard to categorize if that's even necessary !!! Very mild n easy on your mouth BUT very flavorful... Burley's there, Virginia is there likewise w/th other ingredients a smooth homogenous but very intriguing flavor! Th Latikia , to me, is just condimental but adds enough to make this a most interesting and tastee addition 2 my rotation!! I challenge th feller that gave it 1 rating 2 a duel !!! Pipes @ 10 paces!! I'd give it another star iffn I could

Harsh
It was far to harsh for my taste and the aroma was noticed by others as less desirable from other blends

Interesting & Satisfying
I've decided to write no reviews that aren't complimentary especially when I don't like tobacco that others really like!! That bein said..I REALLY like this 'un !! I've spent 55 years w/a pipe n my teeth and have gone thru numerous taste transitions and lately have been searching for something lighter that will still be interesting and satisfying. Conspiracy is both!!! W/out dissecting this blend its both smooth and harmonious, big round flavor and you can make lots of smoke w/out heat!!!

For aromatic lovers who want to dabble in English blends...
Being an aromatic smoker, I initially raised an eyebrow at the earthy, leathery tin aroma. This is a fairly mellow smoke, and the Latakia is subtle. It's earthy, but smooth. I fins I have grown to like it more with each additional smoke. Now, I find my self more intrigued with entertaining English blends. Cult Conspiracy is a gentle exposure to English blends, while still staying an aromatic.

The... Best... Mild English
I didn't know what to expect with Conspiracy and the old marketing for it made it sound like an aromatic. This is not an aromatic. It may have some flavors added but it is pretty much a light Latakia blend. And it is an awesome one! I stopped smoking Nightcap for this blend. Sometimes I don't want Frog Morton level taste/aftertaste. The Conspiracy is, this is a low key English and not an aromatic. Well played.

Great tobacco
This is a great tobacco, and pipes and cigars is a great way to get it.

Another Hit
This is another tasty blend by Cult. It's just as described. A wonderful aero with just a hint of smokiness that adds a little character to separate it from the day to day Areopagus out there.

Better than expected!
Crack open the tin and you smell a mixture of smokey and sweet- kinda like a aromatic got crossed with an English blend. In the pipe, it is cool, super smooth, and goes back and forth between sweet and smokey- tons of tobacco flavor! Room note is amazingly light and pleasant. So far my favorite out of 30 or so tins/bulk i've tried.

Great smoke
Cult is quickly becoming my favorite tobacco. Well done.

Awesome!
One of my new favorites. I tired it on a whim because the description sounded good. It has a nice mild to medium flavor profile like Abacus, but with just a hint of what tastes like latikia. Im very pleased and will purchase again.

A fantastic Aromatic/Latakia hybrid
Man, this stuff is delicious! Sweet and smokey as described, and burns very well with thick plumes of white smoke. Similar to Lane HGL in taste, but a bit more flavorful. At first I was upset I didn't order more, but then I saw P&C has it on sale this month so I ordered up for less. Love me some P&C!!!

Not my thing
This was my first time to try anything with latakia. I don't see myself adding any latakia-based tobacco to my rotation anytime soon. VaPer's and orientals are more to my liking in the non-aromatic field. I tried Conspiracy's cousin - Conspiracy Theory first and found it to be an above average aro, but all of the things I liked about "Theory" were overshadowed by the latakia. That being said, it was a little moist, but burned well, not too hot and few relights. It seemed to be a good quality tobacco, as is consistent with the Cult line. I am sure there are many pipers out there that will love this tobacco, it just isn't my thing

It was alright
Nothing to write home about. Blood red moon is. Glad i got to try it.

Simply delicious!
It's the aromatic with that little extra that most people are in search of. Not to weak but not to strong, it's my 1st Choice for an all day smoke.

I need a second bowl!
Unique is a mild word for this tobacco. Cult is slowly becoming my "go-to" tobacco.

Good smoke. Not overly sweet. Takes some drying time before smoked.

What A Surprise!
I bought some with my BRM and was pleasantly surprised. Imagine Lane 1-Q with some body and some Latakia. It's like a vanilla version of frog Morton cellar.

Sweet, smokey, amazing!
I have to admit I had my doubts, but I was proven wrong! Latakia in an aromatic? Welcome to the conspiracy. On the initial light sweetness abounds with a creamy vanilla, honey flavor, but in short time a smokey Latika finds its way into the mix giving a roundness to the flavor, yet with every exhale a sweet after taste remains. Complex enough for a seasoned smoker to find interesting, but a comforting creamy sweetness at the end of every puff to reset the taste buds. A few bitter moments here and there, but that's just part of the adventure of the bowl. I'm not a huge aromatic fan these days but THIS is going into my regular rotation!

Fair - One Time Buy
Fair smoke...Mild taste, but the room note is not so good. I'm not a big fan of Latakia so this is not one I will buy again. My go to smoke is Drew Estate "7th Avenue Blonde."

Add me to your Cult
Love the smoke. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and smoke of this tobacco. In all candor, I LOVED the name, liked the tin design, and the reviews of the recent release sounded promising. As we all know, the reality doesn't always live up to the hype, but this tobacco was a great discovery and I spent all of last weekend smoking it and coming back to it. Cool smoke, great flavor, nice room notes, little tongue bite, and just a great overall smoke. Well done, Cult.

Cult is the best yet!
Been enjoying a pipe under two years, but getting around to trying a number of tobaccos. Without a doubt, Cult products are my favorite so far! Blood Red inspired me to try others, and now Conspiracy and Abacus are along side it at the top of my list!

Not a bad smoke for an aromatic.
This is an easy blend to enjoy if you're not expecting too much. Fairly mellow, not too sweet, no bite noticed, but then not a lot going on either. Did notice a small taste of latakia so if you're new to latakia, or don't like it to be a strong component ,you might want to try this. I didn't find it to be a very complex blend as the flavors seemed to be very subtle. Not sure I'll order another tin, but it might be just right for you.

Exult the Cult
Another fantastic blend from Cult. Smokes cool without gurgle from the first true light. Great creamy aromatic blend with enough Latakia to add some smokiness. I like it a lot. If you're a fan of this one then try SPC Potlatch; both solid go to blends in my opinion. Great job Cult, and thank you as always P&C.

Outstanding smoke
Been smoking pipes for a long time and this is one of the best tobaccos i've ever tried. Seems to be a combination of aro/English. Taste and aroma are topnotch. Just received 3 more tins and just finished a bowlful before posting. Dan

An excellent new flavor
I suppose the marketing truly is quite arresting: if Fox Mulder of the X Files smoked a pipe, this Cult line would certainly get his attention. But marketing aside, is Conspiracy a quality blend? Sadly, my palate isn’t as well developed enough to articulate minutiae of tobacco blends, but I can tell you I liked it. Like the other Cult blends, Blood Red Moon and Abacus, it has subtitles I enjoyed without bite and a pleasant note. Well worth trying for the aromatic smoker

This tobacco is awesome! I really love the taste, and room note a lot! Smokes nice, easy, and cool. This is definitely one of ym favourites!

This is one Cult you won't regret joining
This is a thoroughly enjoying blend, in the truest sense of "blend". It appeals to me on many levels: easy to smoke, yet complex in flavors, great 'room smell' but enough 'bite' for us English fans. A real everyday go-to. Those blenders at Lane are doing a great job with the Cult offerings (Blood Red Moon in particular is a no-brainer for cherry fans). Highly recommended.

a little harsh
this is advertised as a mild tobacco with a good aroma. In fact it smokes a little harsh and the aroma isn't as good as in cheaper tobaccos. It was disappointed with it.

Excellent cigar
Very smooth with lots of flavor. Great aroma too. Has a nice ash and burns nice and long.

Not My Cup Of Tea
Preface: I have a sweet tooth like no other. I dig the sweet/confectionery blends that taste as good as they smell in the tin, so read the following with that in mind: I must admit I was really looking forward to Cults latest offering, Conspiracy. Abacus is my go to, and BRM is also in my regular rotation, so I had high hopes for this Cult newbie. Upon first opening the tin, the tobacco looks to be dominated by Virginias, with Burley and a splash of Black Cav mixed in. The tobacco was perfect for smoking, not wet but also not dry. The tin note was slightly sweet but had a definite spicy/peppery smell which was from the Latakia they used in this one. The bowl lit well in my briar and burned evenly and smoothly the entire way down. I sipped this one, so there was no bite...but no real taste either. The room note was tolerable, but nothing special or truly English. I gave it a go for a few more bowls throughout the week and was consistently let down. The original description of this was very ambiguous and lacked much detail, leaving this a true mystery to those who were among the first to purchase it. They have since updated and expanded the description which states vanilla and honey flavors, however I have yet to pick up on any of these. Although I love my sweet aros (which this definitely is not), I am still giving this 3 stars because it is quality tobacco and burns well in the bowl...English smokers may find this a mildly sweet aromatic, and aro regulars may find this more of a crossover. Although it's not my cup of tea, many will enjoy this....which means more Abacus left for me :)

stellar supplier...highly recommended. Thanks!

The conspiracy unraveled
This is Captain Black Royal with just the slightest touch of Latakia. Not a crossover, this is an aromatic. Pretty decent but nothing special.

Pretty good stuff!!
Just about passed on this one when I saw the Latakia word! Not much of a English blend kinda guy, but knowing Cult's reputation, I bought 2 tins and gotta say it is unique and a good smoke. Very skillfully blended. Perhaps if Conspiracy had been my introduction to Latakia, I would have been more adventurous!!

Sweet and balanced aromatic
I don't normally smoke aros, but lately I've been trying some. This is a winner if you like that sweet aromatic smell and taste. Personally, I had a hard time picking out the Latakia. That doesn't mean it's not there, but it is rather more complimentary in this blend. Well balanced and a nice smoke for a change of pace from English blends. If you are an aromatic lover then this is probably going to be a big hit with you. Awesome room note. My wife was upstairs and thought someone had made hot Cocoa.

Great for fans of sweet aromatics
This is an interesting tobacco, that is most definitely not for everyone. First off, if you're a fan of aromatics give this one a try. A quick warning: this is a sweet tobacco. A very sweet tobacco. Don't go in expecting a touch of flavor, this is straight up candy, but not overly sweet. Out of all of Cult's offerings, this is probably my favorite. This is one of few aromatics that tastes almost exactly like it smells, which is a great mix of vanilla and maybe brown sugar. The latakia in this blend is pretty much nonexistent in my opinion. Smokes with a smooth velvety mouth feel that left virtually no bite behind. One thing that came to mind is that it kind of tastes like captain black smells, in the best way possible. In closing if you like sweet aromatics, give this one a try. You won't be disappointed.

i dont always smoke aromatics, but when i do , i smoke cult brands...lol.. joking aside.. this is a really nice, light smoke as aro's are.. not goopy.. smells good .. tastes good with hints of vanilla and honey when sipped, and the latakia is sneeky and nice.. well done
