Cult Embassy

Cult Embassy is a diplomatic masterpiece. This blend is the ideal compromise between an enjoyable room note, and real tobacco flavor. Burley, Virginia and black Cavendish is joined by just enough smoky Latakia to make this a tasty treat for the pipe enthusiast, while having a pleasant aroma.

Great Every Day Smoke
Surprised this isn't getting more positive reviews. This is a great light aromatic, but beefy and smokey taste. I smoke this everyday. I used to like Black Duck, and it's still good, but compared to Embassy, I'll choose embassy everytime

This tobacco seems to be
This tobacco seems to be of fine quality, it is just not aromatic enough for me. There is too much regular tobacco flavor and not enough of a room note or cavendish aroma. I prefer the “Blood Red Moon” from this brand. I’m not saying this is a bad product at all, just not to my taste.

Great Smoke
Well balanced and a great smoke in any weather. If I had the spending money, I would buy a pound of this blend in a heart beat. For now, I will settle for having it on my permanent rotation.

I really enjoy the flavor
I really enjoy the flavor and the aroma. My only contention with it is it leaves me a bit lightheaded sometimes.

Nice - Excellent aro-English hybrid
Embassy turned out to be everything I’d hoped Conspiracy would be - a solid English base with an acceptable amount of Latakia mingled with a light vanilla aromatic. Not sweet, but smooth, packs and burns perfectly straight out of the tin. While I have not disliked any of Cult’s offerings, I did feel somewhat underwhelmed by a few of them - very pleased with this one, Embassy met my expectations.

Latakia strong
Stuff was good but a little too latakia forward than what the description leads on with.

Great tinned tobacco with an appropriate level of moisture straight from the tin. Room note is pleasant but does require a little more coaxing to get the full flavor from the tobacco taste wise. Will make a part of a regular warm weather rotation.

Great Pipe Tobacco
Smooth and cool smoke with great flavor and pleasant room note. Fans of Frog Morton Tobaccos would enjoy this one with its balanced Latakia and flavorful Virginias.

Was looking for FMC alternative.
If FMC is right on the line of English and Aromatic, then Embassy is one more small step in the Aromatic direction. Great, cool, dessert tasting smoke.

Smooth smoke
I like the Cult products a lot. Embassy is one of my favorites. Smoothe start and finish. Pairs well with my Bourbons!

Cult review.
Haven't cracked open the tin as of yet. Tried the Blood Red Moon and really enjoy it so far.

I like this one.
You can taste the Latakia. This is a tobacco that has grown on me. Each new bowl gives me some new nuance to ponder. I am not good at describing tastes and flavors, but I know when I like what I am smoking and I like this blend!

Very tasty and enjoyable smoke.
This is my second review of this blend after several more bowls smoked in several different pipes to broaden my experience. My first review was based on one bowl straight from a newly opened tin and having no prior smoking of this product, since it contained Latakia, I used a pipe that I reserve strictly for Latakia blends. I tried another bowl in the same pipe and this time it tasted much the same, but with a little more sweetness to the taste. Wow, I thought this may be more complicated than I first opined. So I moved on to several others of my pipes to give it a try in them. I found a new flavor trying to come through. It was a subtle sweet taste, but I was unable to make out exactly the flavor coming out as I smoked. The more I smoked it, the better it tasted so I had to update my initial review. This is a very good change in smoking enjoyment for me. The Latakia is present and is satisfying. The sweetness is also accompanied by a spiciness that is also subtle. I'll be buying more for times when I tire of smoking the more normal aromatics in my tobacco stash. I am sorry I could not be more specific with regards to the flavor discriptions, but it is enough for me to say that I like.

A surprise!
The Latakia is present in each mouthful of enjoyable smoke. It is perhaps the main flavor that comes through in this blend which makes it a pleasant change and surprise from others of the aromatics I smoke regularly. It is not a bad choice if you want a little something different from Cult. My only other experience with Cult's blends have been with Conspiracy and Conspiracy Theory and this has a whole different taste than the other two. Other Latakia blends I have tried have been a bit harsher while this one is cool and mild. Nice change especially as cooler weather should be arriving soon.
