If you're like me, you might not admit it publicly, but on occasion, a PBR and a hot dog will hit the spot. Now, I enjoy all kinds of cigars, but I can't afford to smoke the $5 to $15 sticks all the time, so when I want a decent cigar for a great price, I'll grab a Dark Shark. These medium-bodied, dark Maduro Broadleaf wrapped Hondurans are pretty smooth and fairly rich. They come in four sizes, and they have a goofy-looking band, but, as they say, you don't smoke the band. A substantial Maduro that tastes good for just over a buck-a-stick? Sign me up.
I would not buy these again, there are many better cigar choices. Dark sharks have a hint of ammonia when smoked. These would be good for handing out to people you don't like on April Fools Day. Also pipes and cigars edit the reviews as a previous review I submitted for this cigar was not published.
