Davidoff White Pipe Tobacco Sampler

These tobaccos show quality and sophistication from the first puff..! I don't smoke 'aromatics' at all, but these are something quite special; no 'in your face' sweetness, just a very mellow super enjoyable smoke...and a wonderful aroma enjoyable to all. As previously noted by another reviewer, the tobacco tends to 'dry out' too quickly, but the flavour is still great....just a better excuse to smoke it up faster and get more...!! Quality is evident from the first bowl.

These smoke really well. Minimum tongue bite. Tasty and good aroma. The only issue was they dried out fast. Smoking them dry was less fun, but still a good smoke. I would buy them again

This is an exceptional blend of smooth tasting tobacco. My neighbors have commented that the smell is very agreeing, nice and they like it. It burns slowly and consistently giving me a good long smoke. Just an excellent buy. Glad I decided to try the sampler.

Just really starting to expand my horizons with pipe smoking. I've dabbled off and on for several years. I still have a pouch of Borkum Riff I've been nursing for about 10 years. Anyway, I got a catalog from Pipes and Cigars and it was very eye-opening. I decided to try something I'd never heard of before so I got the Davidoff sampler. Over the course of a couple of weeks I tried a couple bowls of each. None of them are life-changing but they all do provide a decent smoke. All certainly create a very pleasant aroma. I found that the green is my personal favorite with the red coming in 2nd. All in all, worth the cost for the quality. However, I do wish they were a bit stronger.

The white tobacco sampler provided a wide variety of smoke. Great value for the variety.

This Davidoff sampler is a great deal. The blends are sophisticated. If you can't tell a Merlot from a Medoc, or can't taste the difference between grocery store coffee and a locally roasted, freshly ground bean, you will not appreciate these fine tobaccos. For those who think McDonalds sells food, please stick with your chemically laden, artificial flavored, Captain Black and similar ilk. Davidoff produces high quality blends and the three in this sampler are no exception; no humectants, no candy-like flavoring, just fine mild tobacco with subtle characteristics. Pipe smoking should be relaxing, not a challenge, or an exercise in manipulating the smoke. These blends are meant to be enjoyed, delicately savored, and offer the discerning smoker a selection of exceptional complementary tobaccos at an attractive price.
