Decatur Pipes are all rusticated and made from decades-old briar. They're very light, easy to clench and feel great in the hand. If you want an inexpensive pipe that smokes as well as one many times its price, you'll want to own a Decatur Rustic pipe.

I Didn’t Want To Like It......

I didn’t want to like this pipe. When I opened the box I was immediately disappointed. Very slight feel. Small and cheap feeling. The rustication and finish are absolutely lowest level. The stem is very easy to remove, which concerned me that it could become loose in the future. It has a whistle when I drew through it. I almost returned it. But I have very few pipes and I needepd and beater so I packed it up with some Penzance and it really impressed me. It smokes absolutely fine. Very well, in fact. Even better than some of my other pipes that cost 4 times as much. It’s perfect for the reason I wanted it- a knockaround pipe for work or for the tackle box that I don’t have to weep over if it’s lost or damaged. One thing that I recommmend- add this pipe on to an order with other items to get you over the free shipping mark. I paid $7.50 to have it shipped to me which was unwise. It brought the price higher than it should be. But at $25 you absolutely can’t beat it.
