Dobie's 4 Square Circles is a smooth roll-cut tobacco of ripe Virginias mixed with a nice touch of Perique, surrounding a core of toasted black Cavendish. The flavor is smooth and sweet with just the right amount of spice. The large coins are easy to prepare in whatever way suits your style. If you're a VaPer fan, Dobie's 4 Square Circles is a celebration in a bowl.

I was surprised
This was a surprisingly good VaPer. Very sweet and yeasty on the draw. Sweet and spicy on the exhale and retro. The tin note was very pleasant and full flavored. The coins rubbed perfect and made a nice and fluffy ribbon. This would definitely be a great all day cheep VaPer for its price

Unlit tobacco smells of sweet hay with some notes of dark fruits. Possibly aged tobacco. Smoke is slightly sweet, slightly peppery, with a few barnyardy flavors bouncing around. Light-medium bodied.

As good as any of
As good as any of the circle flakes out there, fairly mild. Crumbles or rubs out well unlike some which have a hard core. Used ti smoke Four Square in the 1960's but this is the first reincarnation I have tried - it passed the test!

Maybe not five stars but very good.
Very good and exactly as i remember it. The coin cut is a pretty populated field these days but Circles is right there. Smokes pretty well.

Nice Virginia
It took me a few bowls to write this review. First thing I notices though was the slightly fermented, furity aroma as soon as I broke the seal on the tin. This is not an aromatic blend, but it does have some black cavendish in the mix, hence the fermented and fruity description. I think in burns a little better if one crumbles up the discs, rather than fold and stuff them into the pipe bowl, as it's very moist. The aroma after lighting is somewhat sweet, but not as sweet as an truly aromatic blend. I believe this would be a good alternative for the pipe enthusiast who, having smoked many aromatic blends, would like to step out and try something a bit different. Recommended.

Nice Convenient Smoke
Great smoke, hint of spice is nice. Circles are just the right size, very convenient to pack your pipe.

Tried this on a whim, and super glad I did! A very tasty, yet subtle smoke, with a very nice aroma. A new personal favorite!
