Dobie's 4 Square Red Aromatic uses the same base tobaccos as 4 Square Aromatic but it becomes a completely different aromatic by the addition of a subtle cherry/vanilla note. This is a pleasant, all-day type of blends for those who enjoy something that's somewhat sweet with an incredible room note.
I've really enjoyed smoking Dobie's Four Square Red Aromatic blend. It has a really strong but pleasant tin note of cherries. However, the cherry flavor and aroma stays well in the background when smoked, as it should. Anyone who likes cherry aromatics will love this blend. I will certainly be buying more.

I've been missing an old blend named "Old Kinderhook" which was one of the Landmark blends discontinued some time ago. When I finally asked P&C for a suggestion, they were kind enough to mention Four Square Red. Where has this stuff been? It has become, by far, my favorite aromatic. It's not overly sweet, very mild and gentle, stays lit and leaves an excellent room note. If you are looking for a hint of cherry, give this a try.

Has a very strong Cherry note out of the tin.. translates to the smoke pretty well. Almost a bit artificial flavor but not overly so or bad. Probably wouldn't buy another tin but I'll smoke it.

It's good, surprisingly. I got P&C's cherry sampler and this was my favorite. It's just cherry enough, and has a smooth taste.
