I don't know who Don Felix is, but he makes a really tasty cigar at a very nice price!
There are so many Don Something cigars out there, that when we see a new one we tend to be skeptical. In this case, though, we didn't hesitate. See, Don Felix hails from the El Artista factory which also makes Big Papi and Puro Ambar, so we felt good about these cigars from the get-go. Then we tried some. The Sumatra wrapper was the first clue that these were going to surprise. The golden capa conceals a Dominican binder and fillers. The flavor features notes of earth, toast, wood, mellow spice, and that little bit of sweetness that you expect from a Sumatra wrapper. To put the icing on the cake, you get 25 cigars for less than two bucks a stick. Whoever he is, I'm liking Don Felix.
