Dr GB full bent rustic
So far great pipe,as expected. Stem fits well, not too tight but tight enough, easy enough to take apart for cleaning. Filter fits well. Most importantly, draws well, bowl stays cool while enjoying the smoke. Would recommend to anyone.

I have been a pipe smoker for over 60 years and probably average at least one pipe a year. The full bent rustic is by far my favorite, I always have one within arms reach, wither in my car, at my desk or shop.

My go-to pipe
This model has been my go-to pipe for decades. I ordered one recently to replace a pipe that had developed a crack in the bowl. The flavor and draw are the same excellent combination that makes this my favorite model, and the bowl capacity seems to be about the same, but the outer diameter of the bowl is smaller than its predecessor and the walls of the bowl are therefore thinner. The difference might not be noticeable to a casual observer, but the bowl can become uncomfortably warm while smoking. This is still my go-to pipe, and it may simply be bad luck that on this occasion I received the "runt of the litter", so to speak.

Dad's Pipe
I started smoking a pipe 15 years ago with a Dr. Grabow gifted to me by my father he had used it for a year and quit over the years i bought a few other brands but my dad's was my go to pipe one day i was cleaning it and it broke i was heart broken i found p&c. online and started poking around and was so happy i cried because dad's pipe was there on the website when i received it it smoked just like my dads might not sound like a lot but my dad left us on August 20 / 2015 thank you p & c
Customer Testimonials
One of the first pipes I bought when I started out. Still enjoy it, and my collection keeps growing.
I received this pipe right on time (which i am most pleased about, I get a bit obsessive over shipping) and immediately tore the package's cardboard flesh seconds after i finally gripped it in my hands. "Salvation is here!" I excitedly thought as I opened the box. Well, I wouldn't say that I was filled with disappointment, but I took it with a grain of salt when I realized just how small the actual pipe was. Now I am no expert in wooden pipes, just the opposite in fact, this is my first real pipe. So this is strictly from a novice's standpoint and my experiences so far with this pipe. The bowl is small, very small, both in depth and in the opening of the bowl reflected as much. Since I am a novice, I am plagued by constant relights and not having a tamper tool (it was back ordered). However, the fact that the bowl was small, proved difficult when trying to effectively light the entirety of the tobacco evenly. My smokes haven't been what I imagined them, but there is a steep learning curve when it comes to pipes. The craftsmanship of the pipe, especially the briar, is very nice, it has some pretty cool designs. The neck is all plastic and bent (I ordered the bent one) and I found it a fairly moderate pull depending on how you pack your tobacco. I just purchased a corn cob pipe, which I recommend anyone who is just starting out and they are planning on buying their first pipe. I would however still recommend this as a first briar pipe, considering the overall fair price and favorable build quality. I will definitely return to this pipe once I become more antiquated with the basic fundamentals of pipe smoking. I think this pipe has a potential to bring out great flavors. So take this review for what it's worth, but its just my two cents. i used Lane 1-Q tobacco in this pipe exclusively (getting Frog Morton and Seattle Pipe Club tomorrow :) ). 6/10
Fine pipe, perfect fit in the hand. First smoke was quite good. I have been following the makers recommended break in method, 1/2 bowls for a couple then alternating. With each session, the nuance of the flavor of the tobacco improves. This pipe is a remarkable bargain and a really beauty in person.
