A looker!
This is one of the best looking Grabow pipes I own. Bowl is a nice shiny medium brown. The stem is what really makes the pipe a looker. It has a kind of amber pearlized color to it. Very nice looking. I would have gave it 5 stars, but the bowl is kind of small. Wish it was bigger. Still a nice pipe though.

Dimensions of the pipe have changed
I have an older smooth Royalton that I really like. The one I recently purchased is much smaller and not something I would have bought had I seen it first. I won't be buying another Royalton sight unseen because of this.

American made good construction.

Not so bad if you are a handyman
This sub-standard pipes. Where it is necessary to drill a hole under the filter. Somewhere remove nail polish and polish again. But overall good pipes. I recommend for beginners

I prefer the Dr. Grabow pipes because they have one of the best filtering systems. Out of the series of pipeS, i find the acrylic stems (orange) to be the most practical. There are many pipes, and based on my opinion grabow has the same functionality as the rest of them. I recommend this pipe and the grabow series to any filtered pipe smoker. Plus it is an AMERICAN company.
