Lights and Darks evenly split in this blend. I am detecting some Virginias that almost certainly have to be side-by-side with a Black Cavendish. Aptly named Harvest on Hudson by Drew Estate, I am thinking the Harvest would happen sometime in late September, in New York, where you’d likely find yourself surrounded by rows upon rows of apple trees.

Great tobacco
Drew Estate's pipe tobaccos are incredible. Like any great smoke, Drew's tobacco gets you to stop and just be. No industrial, utilitarian smoke is this. From first sent, to last puff, Harvest on the Hudson will transport you fron the rush of modern life, to a sauntering stroll through a verdant vineyard. But sadly, all smokes must end, and Drew Estate is no longer producing pipe tobacco. It is then that you realize, the gods are truly cruel.

Almost There But Not Quite Ready for Prime Time
Smoke it slowly and let the fruity goodness come through for you. Not a blend to smoke quickly. Wish it had a stronger casing. If it were stronger on the casing, it would easily get 5 stars. The first puff, or two, is magical - but afterward, it turns to ash flavors. I don't think I'm the only one who would say this.

This one has a smooth fruity flavor & burns evenly to a white ash. Very tastely

Good Stuff
Definitely in the rotation. The cut is somewhere between ribbon and rubbed. The tin note is just excellent. The smoke is somewhat hot in the bowl, but no bite if you hit your paces. Taste is woody with a hint of apple. Great for a relaxing smoke.

Not Comfortable
I found this to be a very hot and fast smoke that had a great deal of bite. It was not a comfortable smoke.

Like a walk down the orchard path
A light and cool smoke with just a touch of apple aroma. Evenly mixed Virginia and Cavendish with not a lot of "goop", it needs little rest to smoke
Customer Testimonials
Picked this up in local store and was pleasantly surprised. Perfect moisture right out of the tin. This is my first taste of DE. Moisture was perfect right out of the tin. Overall this is a pretty mild smoke in terms of strength, and the flavors follow suit well. Subtle fruit on top of toasty cereal. Hint of apple, especially at finish and when done smoking bowl. No issues with tongue bite or moisture, which is always a big plus when smoking aromatic. Recommend for mild, easy smoking aro

I guess it's a law that almost every aro that smells good in the tin MUST light up your mouth like a flame thrower. I tried this blend in a cob, a briar, and a Kirsten (it tames everything). If your like flaming apples then by all means enjoy.

I opened the tin and smelled of it. Really smelled good had a hard time pulling my nose out of the tin so I could smoke it. Lit it up and tried it. set my tongue on fire. I will add this to my growing collection of tobacco never to be smoked again.

Smells like raisins. Smokes to wet for now, as with the other tin of Drew Estates I'm gonna let it sit for a few weeks and come back to it, but as of now I don't recommend it at all.

This blend is quite enjoyable. It is mild and worthy of my rotation especially when I want something just to enjoy that's non English. I appreciate the offerings that Drew Estate has and will eventually try all their blends despite what negative reviews I have read on various sites. I have found that some of the best blends I regularly go to often have reviews that might leave the reader scared to take a chance.

Wonderful nutty taste with a hint of fruity sweetness. Was sad when the tin was gone.

its ok. just a dash of apple wasn't to strong opening the tin. wife wasn't to excited about the room note. but id give it a 2.5-3 out of 5.
SL of Fort Sill, OK
