Dunhill's The Aperitif is a light-medium blend of Latakia, Orientals, and Virginias with the addition of black Cavendish. The resulting mixture is smooth and mellow with an undercurrent of sweetness that is refreshing while never becoming boring.
One of my favorites. Always a satisfying smoke, especially at the end of the day!
I love it. I love it. This is now my favorite tobacco. I am not a fan of Latakia, but this has just a delicate hint, enough to offset the sweetness with a little smoke. Great blend.
A Scottish-style mixture because it contains Cavendish, but unlike the heavily cased American style Cavendish, this is English Cavendish which produces a smoothe-as-silk English hybrid mixture that is heavy on the Latakia and wonderful in the early to late evening.
Well it is a Dunhill blend which mean the mix is very delicate and super well balanced. There are no defining flavors here just an English blend with mild taste. The Latakia is present but not overpowering in any way which makes for a pretty smooth smoke that might be lacking in fullness of flavor for a Latakia lover.
