If you were into cigars in 2010, you may remember a limited-edition cigar from E.P. Carrillo called Elences. I certainly do. That tasty morsel received a 94 rating and was #8 on Cigar Aficionado's Top 25 Cigars of 2010. It didn't take long for them to be sold out. Over the years, Ernesto has had pleas from many of his fans to bring it back, and he heard them. So here's E.P. Carrillo Elencos.
The wrapper is a singular, silky Brazilian Habano capa that glistens with oils. Under that is a Dominican binder and a choice selection of Nicaraguan long-fillers. You'l notice a dark fruit sweetness with hints of cedar, coffee, leather, and zesty, but subtle spices. It isn't often that such an amazing cigar rises from the ashes (pun intended), but this is one that has met with cheers from a lot of cigar fanciers. Try E.P. Carrillo Elencos for yourself. You'll be glad you did.
