Great and tasty change of pace...
First...my compliments on the packaging. It should stay fresher for longer in the plastic inside the tin...dries out very slowly. Good strength, good taste, good room note, finer cut is easier to load and pack. Burns well with no relights in a large Comoys sandblast billiard. A little sweet from the Virginia, nicely smoky and rich from the Burley. Not sure on the Cavendish. The top note is gently applied and nicely tasty while being a little aromatic...wife likes it. I’ve ordered several tins and enjoy this as a change of pace from my usual English blends. No negatives.

Very Nice
This is a old school English Blend. All I can say is get past the trends that are out there. And just set back and enjoy what use to be the standard of pipe smoking. If the FDA gets it's way you'll have to anyway! It is a good mellow smoke just a touch of fruit, a little of sweet Va. not bold just a nice smooth smoke. Just my 2 cents.

American Delight
Can note- Tobacco, vanilla, and a fruit (maybe raisins?) First light-Very smooth and sweet, vanilla, and caramel. Flavor remained the same until just past half a bowl when I began to pick up some very fine mature sweet Virginia, top note was fading away to the Virginia, which is fine by me, love mature Virginia. The Virginia remained the dominant player thru the finish of the bowl. Very nice blend made with high quality leaf, this will be a repeat for me.

Tastes like Chowards Violet candy.
Captures the taste of old time candy. An interesting aromatic with the distinct Lakeland taste (though I still prefer Samuel Gawith Grousemoor). It is very loose, so one can overpack their pipe if not careful.

Lack Lustre!
This tobacco is lack lustre at best. The flavors are muddled together. I am letting the this one age in a mason jar for a bit to see if the flavors even themselves out. I am a bit disappointed with this one.
Customer Testimonials
I took a chance on this blend when it was in the garage sale. I'm glad I did. Has a nice fruity tin note and a pleasant taste. Smooth with no bite. The description says it's like 1-Q, but it's not.
