Gawith, Hoggarth & Co.'s Happy (Brown) Bogie is an unabashedly strong tobacco. The flavor is that of earthy tobacco, aromatic wood, smoke and bold spice. It should be sliced thin, as it tends to go out easily. This is a tobacco to be smoked slowly, and should be avoided if you find strength to be off-putting. This is a very traditional rope, meant for the seasoned pipester. G&H Happy (Brown) Bogie shows why they are the undisputed master of robust rope tobaccos.
