Gawith & Hoggarth Kendal Toffee

Gawith, Hoggarth & Co.'s Kendal Toffee is made of a darker, more mature shag-cut Virginia than their Kendal Gold series. The deeper, sweet flavor of the leaf works beautifully with the rich, warm flavor of English Toffee for a pleasantly sweet flavor and wonderful aroma.

Smooth and fresh. I think i am in Toffee Heaven. Each draw taste better than the previous draw. Highly recommended...

The worst aromatic I tried yet.
I taste nothing but resembles to me as tree bark. That's just me though, it may be wonderful to you.

Shag cut goodness.
First of all let me start off by saying at first I did not like the shag cut but after getting used to it I am sorta going with it as my new favorite cut. My favorite candy is Toffee, and this has the smell but not really the taste. It is mild enough to smoke all day but has a taste that keeps it interesting, but as far as naming it I can't put my finger on it. For the price though, cant be beat

Different, but nice.
My fist thought was the texture…thin, soft, and wire-like yet strong and difficult to separate…almost like steel wool. This isn't a bad thing, just different than what I'm used to…however, it does make for a very smooth burn. The taste is light-medium with a hint of nutty overtone. The room note is very pleasant, but some of that delicious smell doesn't translate to the smoker….which I suppose is true of most blends. There isn't any bite and it goes well with alcoholic or non-alcoholic coffee drinks.
