GL Pease Cumberland is a singular blend consisting of matured Virginias with the addition of a dark Kentucky that has been aged extensively which enhances the strength and depth of the mixture. The inclusion of a bit of Perique adds some sweetness and spice, while smoothing the overall character. Cumberland is a robust blend but maintains perfect balance.
Great blend. If you enjoy darker Virginia's, dark fired, and Perique; then this is definitely worth checking out. Great with coffee or after dinner.

I tried this out of curiosity..mostly because I enjoy the components of this blend. It did not disappoint,and has quickly become one of my favorites. It does have an edge..and if smoked rapidly will become a tad harsh. I enjoy this blend the most after dinner,when relaxing and puffing slow. A subtle sweetness comes through and the flavors really shine. I'd say this is the great American blend..Kentucky,Red Virginia,and Perique in a very nice harmony!
