GL Pease Triple Play follows up on the phenomenal success of JackKnife Plug. A blend of toasty red and zesty bright Virginias with a bit of smoky dark-fired Burley and heavily fermented Perique is pressed then cut into old-fashioned plugs - rich and satisfying. For a hearty tobacco that's still well-mannered and fairly complex, Triple Play clears the bases.
I felt it was more of a plug than a flake, but "wow" the flavors were great and well balanced. Just make sure you take your time breaking it up if you're not going to drop chunk a wedge, it can pinch of the port if not done correctly. I have to say, I was really surprised with this one, it was a higher quality than I imagined.

Like jackknife with perique

If you’ve had jackknife from g.l.p, and liked it, then you will probably like this. I picked some up from a local shop, and have to say that this tobacco, to me, is amazing. It has a comparable nicotine hit to jackknife. This blend is a va/per, but with Kentucky. Or maybe a dark fired Kentucky, with perique. Whatever it is, it’s one of my favorites.

I’m typically not a fan of Virginia’s or VaPers. I like aeros and English.
This is the first VaPer I’ve ever liked. It’s not plan and boring like most. It’s deep, complex, robust.
Fruity and lite, dark sweet and earthy all in one. Pick this one up. You won’t regret it.

not bad, (my opinion only) others don't care for the processing involved with kakes or plugs but i don't mind. this blend is more virginia forward so if virginia's are what you crave i'd say this one is probably a sure shot for you. it is a bold vaper blend with the dark fired leaf in almost equal amount to the perique. a good summer night time smoke for me.

Easy to cut plug. Good flavor. Bought 8 oz can. Definitely aging some.
