We've sold Graycliff at P&C for quite some time and many of you have been fans of their cigars. The one bit of feedback we heard fairly frequently was that they didn't really have anything for the full-bodied crowd. Enter Graycliff Espresso.
Blended by Avelino Lara, who created the Cuban Cohiba, these cigars are what happens when bold meets elegant. The first thing you'll notice is a rich, dark Costa Rican Marron wrapper which looks like dark chocolate. Underneath is a unique blend of Corojo, Ecuadorian ligero and zesty Nicaraguan fillers, all with extra-long aging. The dominant flavors are espresso (naturally!) and cocoa, with a roasted nut note and a balanced amount of spice - intriguingly complex.
To take this robust cigar to the next level, they've crafted a special blend in only one size - a 4.5" x 54 ring chunky rothschild called the Double Espresso which contains twice as much ligero to amp up the richness and spice.
