Here comes one of the most anticipated new cigar releases of 2016 - H. Upmann Yarguera.
During the post-embargo years of the sixties, a number of Cuban expatriates scattered through the Caribbean and Central America to begin their cigar making businesses anew. One estate in Honduras, called Yarguera, was home to an especially prized, but rather delicate tobacco grown from Cuban seed. Altadis' Grupo de Maestros used this tobacco to create a hybrid, by combining it with the robust and hardy Criollo '98 to create a particularly unique and flavorful tobacco. The Yarguera 13 Tapado wrapper is combined with a Honduran Criollo binder and Honduran hybrid long-fillers to produce a cigar with notes of espresso, toasted pecan, dark chocolate, sweet spices and a caramel-like finish. Prepare your taste buds for something different in a medium-bodied cigar - Yarguera.
