Hearth & Home pipe tobaccos have been part of the P&C landscape for fifteen years, and the lineup has expanded greatly over the years. The latest addition, though, isn't a tobacco blend. It's the new Hearth & Home Pipe Lighter. This attractive lighter has a case that's goldtone with matte black and the Hearth & Home logo emblazoned on the side. It features a 90-degree soft-flame and a flint-free ignition system so you won't have to worry about changing a flint. It also has an oversized flame height adjustment wheel and an integrated tamper/pick built into the bottom. Add all this up with a nice price and the Hearth & Home Pipe Lighter is a fantastic value.

Consistently inconsistent!
It almost never lights on the first try. However, it lights on the second try at least 90% of the time. For what it cost, I'm willing to make allowances.

Bought this pipe lighter to
Bought this pipe lighter to replace one , I had for 15 years. The flame is adjustable by turning the knob on the bottom of the lighter. It uses butane, I had no problem refueling it. I did not have any problems air pockets when refueling it. It is a very good lighter and the price is decent.

The best
This is by far the best lighter I've owned! It looks very stylish and I love the 2.5 oz heft. The ignition switch feels very solid and secure. I've had far to many switches break after a month of use.

I like the heft, the
I like the heft, the ergonomics, and the color. I wish the adjustment were easier to use, and filling were a bit more intuitive, but this is my first refillable butane lighter so maybe I'm just ignorant. Overall I like it, and would purchase it again.

I'm Very Satisfied!
I bought this on a special deal to have another H&H lighter instantly available. I've had one for quite a few months now, and it works great! The weight and shape suit me, and the dependability is most welcome. That lighter replaced two other styles (at the same price) that worked for a total of one month.

Lasts longer than most piezo quartz lighters.
This lighter is sold with various tobacco brand names. I give it 3 stars because it has lasted longer than any other high to low priced piezo quartz lighter I've had. They all quit being reliable to just quit working. This one has lasted over a year. The flame adjustment knob adjusts better when the flame starts to change negatively, but then falls off but can be made to stay on with a bit of ingenuity. I will buy them again if there is a very good deal or it's in a bundle deal for cheap. I'll stick with Clipper refillable's with flints.

It Works!
Totally worth it, took off a star due to a lack of reservoir window and short tamper (But, if pulled all the way out from lighter it will work with 1.5 deep bowls). This thing has some weight to it too. It lights which is important. So much better than a Zippo pipe lighter. Now, what do I do with all my two bottles of Zippo fuel? Fuel uesd: Xikar Purofine

Lighter
Been using the lighter for a bit and thus far there have been no issues. It has a good feel and weight. Also has a decent size fuel tank. The one thing I dislike is the size of the tamper, for deeper bowls it is to small.

Nice lighter
This lighter is a convenient size. Filling is easy, flame adjustment is easy, flame remains at what it's set at and the lighter has a nice weight. The lighter looks very nice and the built-in tamper/pick is convenient. I would buy this lighter again.
