Hearth & Home Mid-Town Cherry

One of the best-selling flavors for pipe tobacco is cherry, but some are overbearingly sweet or are "bitey". Hearth & Home Mid-Town Series Cherry is a mellow blend of Burley and Cavendish with an understated note of ripe cherry that can be enjoyed any time. The flavor will win you over and the price will keep you coming back for more.

H&H MidTown Cherry
Purchased this as it was blended to be a Middleton Cherry type tobacco. Did not meet expectations re: taste & aroma. It's an ok pipe tobacco but far short of being the knock off. Will not repurchase. Hopefully a new blend will be produced as I enjoyed Mid. Cherry blend for years.
Customer Testimonials
I recently became a serious pipe smoker. I had tried Middleton cherry about 35 years ago. It was harsh and had tongue bite. This is smooth and tasty. Well done.
I find myself constantly amazed at Russ's ability to provide quality tobacco at extremely reasonable prices, this is yet another. I must state that I have never tried JM's Cherry blend so I can't compare. My impression is that of an earthy burley taste with slight overtones of cherry. To me, it has an earthy, buttery taste mid bowl not unlike a good cigar? On the down side it can be bitey if smoked hot. Some may find the citrusy overtones not to their taste. It smokes and loads well, down to a fine ash with little or no dottle. I find the moisture content to be good, it is not at all goopy and I can detect no humecticant. Much better taste after your pipe seasons a few bowls. Smoked in MM Legend, Savenelli Trevari, and Brigham Algonquin 2dot. Can't wait to try Chatham Manor! As always YMMV.
