Henry Clay, for quite some time, has been one of those cigars that lots of people tried and enjoyed, but after a while faded into the background. One thing's for certain, their newest entry, Henry Clay Stalk Cut will stay up front and center with the P&C Faithful for a long time to come.
Henry Clay Stalk Cut sports a dark 2012 Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper that hasn't been primed. The entire plant is cut at the stalk and hung upside-down in the barn to allow all the nutirents to get into the leaves. This capa is laid over a Dominican Piloto Cubano binder from 2010 and long-fillers including 2012 Dominican Piloto Cubano, Olor and Nicaraguan Criollo from 2013. You'll be greeted by espresso, cocoa, leather and earth plus sweet baking spices. You'll never forget the name Henry Clay again after you've tried Stalk Cut.
