The Humi-Care Crystal Gel Humidification jars are a simple, easy-to-use choice for medium and smaller humidors. The crystals are a two-way system for keeping your box stable. If the humidity drops, the crystals will give off moisture, and if it's too humid, they will absorb the excess. When it arrives, just add distilled water to the fill line, and the crystals will swell and expand. When you notice the gel shrinking, just add more water. The 4 oz jar will handle a humidor that holds 40 to 150 cigars, while the 2 oz jar will work well for up to 50 cigars. If you have multiple humidors or something larger than 150, you can buy a two-pack and save. Nothing works like Humi-Care.

I have always had trouble keeping my pipe tobacco at the right moisture level. Other humidification methods either made it too moist or left it too dry. They also needed constant monitoring. I just add the water and put the jar in with the tobacco and it stays at the same moisture level as if it had just come out the can.
