Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial is the second cigar created by Don Pepin Garcia’s son, Jaime (the first was the My Father). It’s a dark brown beauty made of Nicaraguan filler and binder with a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper. The flavor starts peppery but quickly moves toward coffee and sweet wood (think cedar) and is very smooth considering that it’s a bold, robust cigar. The draw and burn are very good, and though it’s a little pricey, it’s justified.
