John Cotton's latakia is aptly named, because this is a distinctly Latakia-forward blend with just enough Oriental and Virginia influence to keep it from becoming monochromatic. Remarkably cool and robustly deep in flavor, this is a treat for the real Latakiaphile.
Stronger than frog morton but nice flavor. I’m a lightweight but someone else could give this blend a higher rating.

Don't let the name fool you into thinking you're going to get blasted by Latakia. I love the English blends and this Latakia does not disappoint. It is not overwhelming and finishes gentle and smooth. I find I draw on it anticipating the Latakia and it's there in perfection. Really nice addition to anyone's collection, and one I go to often.

Like a lot of folks, I had read about this blend so I had to try it. It's one of my favorites. Very smooth and tasty and just a good smoke all around. It's definitely one I will keep around the house and smoke often.

This is the closest to the old English blends I grew up on, Balken Sobranie, John Cotton, Lanre's Crown Achievement, Dunhil and others. Rich, smooth, and satisfying.
