La Aurora Untamed was a departure for the oldest cigar factory in the Dominican Republic - a big, brawny cigar. Now they scale up the complexity with La Aurora Untamed Extreme.
At first glance, Untamed Extreme doesn't look too much different than the original, but don't let looks deceive you. Even though they both sport a dark, satiny Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper with a Dominican binder and a blend of Dominican and Nicaraguan long-fillers, where the first Untamed id full-bodied, it has a relatively simple flavor profile. Untamed Extreme backs off a shade on the body, but really amps up the complexity and intensity of the flavor. Rich notes of cocoa, coffee, cedar, baking spices, pepper and a bit of sweetness on the finish. If you thought you knew La Aurora, wait until you try La Aurora Untamed Extreme!
