La Gloria Cubana Serie N is a newer companion to the Serie R with a very dark and oily Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper and Nicaraguan filler and binder, and has a lighter colored letter “N” affixed to the wrapper. While being almost as full-bodied as the Serie R, the Serie N is less spicy with notes of dark chocolate and a mellow sweetness that is typical of a darker Sumatra wrapper. Other flavors present are some earthiness along with some wood and leather. Time to stock up!
