La Jugada Prieto is the first release from Moya Ruiz Cigars, made in Erik Espinosa's La Zona Factory in Nicaragua, and what a great first effort it is.
The wrapper is a coffee-colored San Andres maduro, which is found on some of the most prized cigars available. Underneath is an all-Nicaraguan binder and filler blend that work in concert to create a medium to full-bodied masterpiece that begs to be enjoyed. There are notes of espresso, cocoa, oak and a hearty splash of spice with an overall creaminess. While the flavor is robust, it never becomes harsh or overpowering. This is an absolute must-try.
