After that, the cigars disappeared from from store shelves. Well, thanks to Sam’s grandson Bill, La Palina is back and better than ever. The brand has used tobaccos from all of the major growing regions in the world - except for Nicaragua. So, to remedy this, La Palina enlisted the help of the one and only AJ Fernandez. La Palina’s Nicaragua line includes to beautifully blended cigars and uses tobaccos sourced from Mr. Fernandez’s factory in Esteli.
