Cherry Ambrosia being my go to flavor, I have long been a fan of the superb blending and quality of Mac Baren. This being the third of the Halberg flavors for me to try, I love it. The top note is green apple and by the second match I am getting toasted pears, then either apricots or persimmons. The mid-note is a mouthwatering return of the Granny Smith flavor from the top note. I does require a little hand rubbing as some of the aged tobaccos are a bit chunky. I find this to be a perfect morning coffee bowl or daytime flavor, as I prefer something a bit richer and darker in flavor as the day wears on. 5 Stars! If you haven't tried the Halberg series, you are missing out. Hard to beat the depth of flavor!

Beautiful pouch note of fruit and smokes wonderfully. No bite and fantastic room note. Not overly wet in pipe and is a light aromatic which makes a great all day smoke.

It is a finer tobacco than most, at a very nice price point. No discernible bite and a clean finish.

When the box arrived I gave it a try. It earned a permanent spot in my cellar. I believe if you try it you'll make a place in your cellar for it as well. Good stuff!

Converted non aromatic smoker

Being a dedicated non aromatic burly smoker (mac Symphony) though I would try this for a diversion from my all day non aromatic. This has turned out to be more than just an end of day diversion. This is a great smoke and my wife loves the aroma. Will definitely be buying more

Wow. Looks expensive in that classy box. IS expensive at $6 per ounce (I'm hoping they come out with by the ounce in the future cause this stuff is wonderful. I mean it even SMELLS expensive. Fruit! But... really lovely tobacco aroma and taste. Can't say much more, this is one of the nicest tobaccos ever! Great texture to it. Room note is awesome. Kinda reminds me of Peterson's Summer 2014 Ltd Ed but even more "refined". Luxurious!
