I bought the maduro, and let me tell you, these are pretty good. I am a cheapass, and the price on these are great, but be warned that they are of a smaller ring gauge than described. Delicious cedar and nuts is all i taste, until the end where it gets bitter like black walnuts. About a 30 minute burn time, these are great for the cold or driving. My only complaints are that i cant keep the map it's wrapped in because of the tape (I collect maps) and that the band never comes off without tearing it off. This sometimes tears the wrapper and there are always glue leftovers. Cheap, tasty, and minimal bull makes me want to order 100 when I run out, so there's that I guess.
Customer Testimonials
Not what I expected, for such an inexpensive cigar. A friend and I needed some "fishing cigars", so we went in half on an order of 100. $30 for 50 cigars each, WTH, we decided to try these out for S&G’s. Besides, they have some very good reviews at CI, so why not??? These sticks are really good... HAHA, let me tell you, they are very good! I'm not joking, either. I see what everyone was talking about over at CI!!! They are mild, smooth, and ashes burn long. They have a long filler, and are hand rolled in the D.R. They not only have a slightly larger ring gauge but are also a bit longer than the Dominican cigarillo like the Macanudo Ascots or RyJ Romeos. They aren't the best looking cigars in this hemisphere, and may even have a few flaws, but they are very tasty, and are worth much more than what you will spend on them. So.... long story short, if you want a 30 min break from the Sutliff, Dunhill or the H&H...these are worth the try.
