What do you get when you take everything that Man O' War has to offer and put it all into one cigar? You get Man O' War Dark Horse.
Dark Horse is a 4.5"x44 corona with a pigtail cap, which is the ideal shape for the way it's made. You see, when AJ Fernandez makes powerhouse cigars like Man O' War Ruination, among others, there are trimmings of robust ligeros left over. These are collected specifically to use in making Dark Horse. Because of the narrow ring gauge, these cigars smoke more like they're made of long-filler tobaccos. A dark, mottled Ecuadorian Habano wrapper snugly contains the Nicaraguan and Honduran ligero picadura that makes up the core. You'll get bold notes of coffee, earth, cedar, bold spices and pepper. These full-bodied firecrackers are incredibly satisfying.
