MATCH Holiday Mixture

I remember my dad smoking this in the 1950s. When I took up the pipe in the early 1970s, I tried Holiday. Didn't like it. Although looking back, it was probably me. New smoker. New pipe. Didn't know what I was doing. Bad experience. Now I am "stuck" with a match. However, faithful or not to the original, this was delicious. Holiday Match is a mild and gentle smoke, with a lightly sweet taste throughout. Once in a while, a whisper of latakia comes through. If you're an all day smoker, this will fit the bill nicely. I'm not. Nevertheless, this is a great occasional smoke too. It's not intrusive, yet it's there. You can contemplate the universe and Holiday won't get in your way. You can come back to earth and enjoy the pleasant sailing that this mixture provides. What's not to like? Thank you, Sutliff, for preserving this wonderful blend.

This is a delicious non-aromatic Pipe tobacco. This brings back memories of my uncle who used to puff away on his pipe as we would work in the pineapple fields.
