Better than the original
Not exactly the PA I know. This is a sweeter, cooler burning tobacco than PA. I enjoy this as much or more. Thanks.

MATCH Prince Albert
I have always like Prince Albert. And this has a little bit of a price break from the pouch or the 12 oz canister.

Good and tasty
A really good blend that is sweet and easy to smoke. Easily made into my regular rotation and something I'll be buy on a regular basis.

not the best, but definitely not the worst.
This tobacco has a tin note, that I remember from when I was a kid. It came a little moist to my liking, but after a smidgen of drying time, this tobacco was a good all day smoke. As an aromatic, I found the topping on the shy side. I feel like there are better aromatic matches here, but if you are on the fence about ordering it, pull the trigger on an once. I feel you will find this tobacco decently pleasing.

MATCH Prince Albert
Nothing will match Prince Albert original. It's an American burley classic. Anything other is just a poor imitation.

Good smoke
A nice alternative to PA. Has a little more of the cocoa flavor and less anise aroma/flavor than Prince, thumbs up.

Match Prince Albert
This one of the pipe tobacco's I enjoyed when I started and when I lit up my first pipe it was like finding a old friend. It was a mild bend to smoke and it pass the "wife test" so I can smoke it the house. It is good bend for a first time pipe smoker to start with because it easy to lit and smoke.

Nice enough, but no match.
Milder and sweeter than Prince Albert. It seems to have a fruity flavoring. PA has a cocoa topping. You can smell it in the can or pouch. The original formula for PA was Piedmont Bright, a flavored and sweetened Burley from Kentucky, and 10% Turkish leaf. I have no reason to believe it has changed. Camel cigarettes still use that formula. So, nice enough tobacco, but by no means a Prince Albert match. Try again, P&P!

Nice tobacco, but not a close match
I am a long-time Prince Albert smoker. Prince Albert is flavored with cocoa. You can smell it when you open a fresh container. The Match blend seems to have a fruity top note. Originally, Prince Albert was 10% Turkish leaf, in addition to Piedmont bright and sweetened Kentucky burly. I have no reason to believe it has changed. The Prince Albert finish seems to suggest Turkish to me, particularly when the smoke is properly "sipped." Prince Albert is not a strong tobacco, but it is distinctly stronger than the Match blend. Putting all that aside, the Match blend is quite pleasant, and, like Prince Albert, is not overly aromatic and does not bite.

Excellent tobacco!!
Have smoked PA for years so had to try this Prince Albert Match. Seems a just a bit sweeter and for me I like that. Overall excellent match. Think I like it maybe even a little better than reg. PA. Excellent smoke, taste and burn. Will buy more. Thanks P&C.

Customer Testimonials
I am a daily Prince Albert smoker, so I had to try this just out of curiosity--and the fact that Middleton discontinued the pouches. This didn't taste anything like Prince Albert to me. It was much sweeter, too moist, and it gave me tongue bite. I've been smoking Prince Albert for years, and it never gave me tongue bite. I tried drying it out, but it was still too sweet and bit me. I ended up throwing a few ounces away. I was disappointed, because I've had some great P&C matches that I liked more than the original. I'll pay the extra money for a tub of the real thing.
