Acadian Ribbon is a singular approach to the Virginia/Perique genre. Using a guillotine, rich, sweet Virginias and zesty Acadian Perique are sliced into a fine ribbon, and the blend is made more gentle by the exclusive Blakeney's method of light toasting.
McClelland Blakeney's Acadian Ribbon is a slightly different take on the usual Va/Per blends. Compared to McClelland's St. James Woods, it has a bit more earthy aroma in the can with something that reminds me of dark chocolate, which I love. If you like St. James Woods, you'll probably like Blakeney's Acadian Ribbon. I recommend it.

Great tobacco. Wonderfull sweet and grassy taste with just the right amount of spice that is not over powering. But this tobacco should be sipped, that is smoke it slow because it will burn hot if smoked to hard or fast resulting in flavor loss. Also this tobacco ages well.
