Matured Virginias No. 27 start out as orange-red grades of fine flue-cured tobaccos which are matured under pressure to bring out a smooth, slightly toasty character without sharpness. The cakes are sliced into very thin flakes to allow for a wide range of preparations.
I absolutely love Virginias. While I do enjoy English, aromatic, and burley blends, I always come back to Virginias. This is one of the best Virginia tobaccos I've had the pleasure of smoking. Grassy, earthy, and sweet flavors with very little tongue bite. I'm sure if pushed, it will bite; but this tobacco should not be rushed, but savored to the very last puff.

Great smoke. When you open the tin, it smells like ketchup. Don't let that throw you off. Smells great when smoked. Great all day smoke. Will buy again and wife approved.

This blend is a very good palate pleaser. It starts out a little bitter but very quickly turns to a very pleasing smoke. It is one I will keep on hand and smoke at least 4 days a week. Enjoy

As a big fan of Virginias, this tobacco scores big points. Everything about it is appealing, from the "good enough to eat" smell to the cool and flavorful smoke. Another superstar from McClelland.
