No idea what these reviews are talking about. I purchased 2 tins of this awhile back and loved them. Too expensive for me as I smoke like a locomotive. The smokey and thick taste is there as with any Lat tobacco. This however is above the bar for a good latikia. Once you get it going you have to be gentle or the flake with burn real nice and next thing you know your gagging on it (thick smoke and very rough on the breathing). I found that cutting into little squares and adding some Virginia based tobacco added enough contrast that the flavor profile was more enjoyable and stayed lit faster. All in all I wish this available in bulk as I would buy it all the time!

The name is certainly a misnomer. The tin note reminds me of blueberries as does the taste. I dont taste the latakia or the DFK but its still really pleasant to smoke so Id buy this again!

A "different" kind of flake here...has a sort of cologne scent when you smoke it, not a bad taste at all. Very smooth and clean smoke with ALOT of flavor, this is what I would call a "gentleman's tobacco"! I recommend this to EVERYONE who has had that "lakeland" taste before and does not mind it, though this is not soapy in any way, it is however an experience that as I stated previously...EVERYONE should try.
