Here is a smaller sized calabash for those that want to have a calabash in their collection but they do not want it to take up too much room on their rack. The threads going into the pipe were cut too large and the small nub that fit into the pipe literally fell out on my first use of the pipe
Seems quality control is needed. Liked the size and appearance. I would not buy again-just not sturdy enough for everyday use.

I have always wanted a calabash. When I found this in a 'small size', I knew it was the answer. Turns out that the size is very nice. It is also beautifully crafted. Smoking is really nice right from the git-go. BTW, I was surprised to find that I could clench it comfortably. Now all I need is a Deerstalker cap, and I will be the essence of Sherlock Holmes. ;-)

It is better than I expected: it is light weight, yet hefty enough, fits comfortably in my hand, the size is perfect, and the bowl is just the right size for a cool, enjoyable smoke.
