The Missouri Meerschaum Tom Sawyer Straight is my first cob. The weight of this fella threw me off for a moment. I thought it felt to light at first, like it would just burn away. Not just the bowl but the stem. I stand corrected. This pipe has been used my friends. It holds up well.
The bowl size isn't small but on the same note, not quite large either. It smokes well. Best thing in my opinion is the mobility afforded when moving about doing outdoor chores for example. It makes for a decent 30-45 minute smoke depending on cadence of course.
I'm greatly pleased with my first cob experience and I have already been looking at additional cobs from Missouri Meerschaum to pair with my briars.

The bowl is big enough for a good smoke, time will vary on how fast you breathe, great for clenching and cooking, working in the yard and walking dogs. I never not have a bowl on hand now, and the only thing I wish was that it was a tad bit longer in length.

I originally got this little pipe to use for sampling new blends. I really like the way it smokes, stays cool , easy to clean, wont ghost, fits easily in the pocket for that quick smoke at work. I will pickup a couple more so I have one in my work truck at all times.

What a great little pipe. This was my first cob pipe purchase. I was pleasantly surprised. As I’m also experimenting with as many new tobaccos as I can get my hands on, I keep finding a reason to pick this pipe up instead of one of my long time rotation pipes.
It’s not a long smoke, but it is quite smooth. I’m a clencher and this is a perfect size to keep in the mouth while driving to work. The size is almost small, and close to a nose warmer. I take it fishing with me all the time. Stays lit and if by chance I drop it in the water, I’m not out a ton of cash. I will definitely get another one.

Good cool smoking pipe to have for those times when you only have 10-15 minutes for a smoke. Nice and small so it can easily fit in a shirt pocket. Plus, the cob texture can keep it in your pocket while bending over.

The bowl is too narrow for my taste (hard not to get the pack too tight). I've purchased several MM cobs and this is my least favorite, but it's a serviceable pipe. I'm sure it's someone's cup of tea, but I prefer the Morgan when it comes to MM's short shank pipes.

I've been transitioning from briar to corn cobs, and I'm grateful for this little guy. It's light and easy to clench. The bowl is a good size for a shorter smoke. The only issue I have is, I can't really get my pinky in the bowl to pack it properly. I enjoy it, however.

I initially bought this pipe, but on inspecting it, it had a crack at the bottom. I contacted pipes and cigars regarding this, and they were really quick in sending a good piece to me. Excellent service. I am not quite happy with the pipe itself as it gets really hot without even puffing on it continuously.

I've always been a briar guy. This is my first corncob pipe ever and boy am I satisfied. I was looking for a cheap everyday carry pipe that wouldn't break my heart or my wallet if it broke. So far this little guy is filling the bill nicely. Looking forward to many more MM's in the future. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the bottom of the bowl. There is a cavity at the bottom below the draught hole that is a bit difficult to clean and clear out all tobacco. All in all, not a big deal really. And definitely not a reason to shy away from this pipe.

This is my first corn cob pipe. I prefer smaller pipes so I went with this one. I first smoked an aromatic in it, then I smoked an English blend, and surprisingly there was no 'ghosting' of the flavors of the first blend. The pipe bowl size is perfect for a short smoke, which works great for me. The pipe smokes wonderfully.

First off ... yes this cob is small. A toy? Not by a long shot. I've had at least 20 smokes out of this cob now and it is just a perfect short smoke. I keep two of these in my truck with some CH, PA or the like.

Absolutely love MM bobs, have way more than my share of them, and will certainly be purchasing more. However, this pipe is an absolute joke! Of course it’s my fault for not having bothered to read all of the dimensions on this pipe so I’ll take some blame for that. The pipe is so SMALL it is, for all practical purposes, nothing more than a cute toy! I’ve not even bother to smoke it simply because it’s not even worth bothering to do so considering the extreme small size of the bowl.
Just because Tom Sawyer was about 12 years old or so is no excuse for making this pipe more fitting to a three foot Troll. What MM cob was thinking when they released this pipe is absurd and beyond me! Considering its price, no great loss, but nonetheless a total waste of money. Don’t even bother unless you need a pipe for one of your daughter’s toy dolls.
P.S. The same applies to the Huck Finn pipe other than it being a longer stem. Bottom line… don’t waste your money on either.
