Murray's 1810 Belfast

For those who prefer lighter Latakia blends like Dunhill's Early Morning Pipe, Murray's 1810 Belfast will be a welcome change of pace. Bright flue-cured tobaccos are blended with a bit of soft Burley, a lightly-sweet, Virginia-based black Cavendish and Cyprian Latakia to create a gently smoky tobacco that can be enjoyed at any time of day.

Great breakfast blend.
I enjoy this with coffee.

Great stuff
A great smoke and a leading candidate to fill the post-Dunhill void...

Great morning and all day tobacco
I tried this as I'd heard it was a good substitute for the discontinued Dunhill Early Morning, and in fact it is. It's just a shade stronger, which makes it also a good all day tobacco, but it was a huge relief to find a good substitute for my mornings after my supply of Early Morning runs out

It is as described, mellow and light
As described, it is a light, mildly sweet, English blend. You won't receive the deep, bold, smoke you may desire at night from a heavier English but that isn't its roll. It is an easy all day smoke for English lovers and is a nice change of pace for those who lean towards heavier blends. It may have found its place in my rotation.

Mellow blend
Nice mellow flavor. Coffee, cocoa, and a hint of camp fire.. Maybe a splash of whiskey?. Closer to an American/English than full English. Goes great with morning coffee in my Comoy's #17 Kruger or no-name Czech Rhodesian with a conical bowl.

One my favorites
I’m not a huge fan of the heavy Latakia English blends, this one is lighter and a great smoke. My daughter likes room smell too. Goes good with a single malt after work. Can be smoked all day

Working mans blend
Great working mans blend. Not to moist, not to dry. Stays burning and is mild enough to smoke all day.

Good smoke
Enjoyable for those seeking a slightly sweetened Latakia blend. Adding this to my rotation..

Murray's 1810 Belfast
Usually I save my Latakia blends as the last pipe of the evening - not so with Murray's 1810 Belfast. This is the first Latakia based tobacco I have been able to smoke pipe after pipe. It's mild, burns slowly, doesn't bite, and tastes great!
