Murray's 1A Linfield

Some times I think of the great English blends that were produced in England back in the 60's and 70's and feel that today's blends are mere copies of those old originals. Fortunately there are a few English blends of today that retain the qualities of those blends of the past. 1A Linfield is one of these blends. It is not just an approximation. It is the real thing. The tin's look, the tobacco's cut, the tobacco's aroma, and most importantly the taste are what an English blend needs to be. The blend smokes so smooth that from the first lighting to the very bottom of the bowl the experience is that of contentment and pleasure that comes from a truly fine tobacco blend.

I tried this on a lark. It is great. I ordered a whole box of tins! Unfortunately the packer decided to put all 22 of them in one box with no padding. Box arrived with one side open and about 8 or 9 of the tines are dented on the top lid and also on the side. I want to cellar these but I don't know if the seals are broken and won't know for year or two when I shall finally get to them. I highly recommend this tobacco as one of the finest I have smoked. Just don't order more than about 10 tins total.

this is my favorite. it is smooth and smoke will. I enjoy smoking it outside. the can smells strong but the smoke is great. I love it and sometimes it reminds me of the camp fire around my grand father.

Excellent! One of my favorites. Burns well, the latakia is very present, but plays well with the others. It doesn't have that weird, burnt popcorn taste some English blends get after a few puffs. Highly recommended!

Just fired up my first bowl! Yum! Delicious! Excellent smoke, wonderful baccy! No bite, very smooth, sweet, and tasty!

A fine smoking tobacco, burns well, I would recommend it to my friends.
