Their My Uzi Weighs a Ton series showed a different approach, but the MUWAT Kentucky Fire-Cured breaks the mold. Pipe smokers have long been acquainted with dark-fired Kentucky, with its wood smoke flavor and notes of black pepper, but now premium cigar smokers get their chance to experience this unique American-grown and cured tobacco.
The blend is completed with Nicaraguan tobaccos for an intriguing medium-full body that's highlighted by notes of hickory, oak, pepper and some sweet spice. This cigar has been a real game-changer. Try them and see for yourself.
I noticed this cigar at my local smoke shop on the "random shelf" tucked away to the side and thought the name was interesting and decided to try it and wow it was one of the best cigars I've had. It was a milder cigar but had a close resemblance to Mac Baren's HH Latakia Flake that I smoke in my pipe occasionally and I like that very much also. I will definitely buy one over and over again.
Excellent smoke. The mix of flavors complement each other well, especially when paired with a nice brandy or cognac.
review is for the Kyotos-5.5x34 While I am primarily a pipe smoker, I do enjoy having a cigar every now and then. So far, this is my favorite. Despite being a bit milder than I generally prefer, the flavor was outstanding. I can't wait to see how it smokes after a bit of aging. Draw is nice. Burns evenly(mostly), as long as you don't go too quickly.
