Newminster No. 306 English Oriental begins as a classic "English" mixture, combining Cyprian Latakia with select flue-cured tobaccos and rich, spicy Samsun from Turkey. Here's where the blend takes a departure from tradition - it also includes some Burley for added body and a slower burn, along with some black Cavendish.
I purchased this by error, was trying to get Newminster Oriental. Well this turned out to be a happy mistake. It is a mild all day English blend with the orientals up front. If this sounds like something you would like give it a try. I'll be coming back for more.
